Responsibilities :
- Develop, lead, and execute comprehensive strategic purchasing initiatives and objectives.
- Manage and analyze key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve production effectiveness.
- Partner with key stakeholders to clarify requirements for documentation.
- Forecast future production needs based on both historical data and planned usage.
- Establish and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Determine optimal order quantities, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Manage multiple vendor relationships and a diverse large range of stock keeping units (SKUs).
- Gather and analyze data and metrics to compile reports to management
- Ensuring the high-quality and cost-effective procurement of goods, directly impacting our production capabilities and overall market success.
Requirements :
- Minimum 7-10 years experience as a Purchasing Manager, Agent, or Officer from preferably a Manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Excellent Negotiation, Sourcing, Vendor Management and decision-making skills required
- Strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities and ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Expertise with SAP Business One or a related ERP platform required
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Must be able to work On Site Weekdays from 8 : 30 5PM
