Summary
We are seeking a Nurse Technician / Unit Secretary for the night shift in our Medical / Oncology department. This role involves providing daily hygiene, assisting with ADL's, and accurately transcribing medical plans of care.
The position also requires maintaining a healing and therapeutic environment for patients and families, as well as providing clerical support and documentation.
Requirements
- Certified nursing assistant or one year of nursing assistant experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection and patient care delivery
- Collaborate with the health care team for timely delivery of patient care
- Transcribe medical plan of care and provide clerical support
- Document accurately and timely
