Job Overview
This candidate will serve as the customer service focal point prioritizing and coordinating maintenance and repair requirement with customers, shop supervisors and government representatives.
Evaluate job requirements to determine materials, process and coordination necessary to safely execute work. Products would include job estimates and work packages ready for execution, perform moderately complex assignments that require initiative and independent judgment in the selection and use of established principles and procedures.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Prepare cost estimates; prepare purchase requisitions and expedite delivery.
- Frequently communicate and coordinate with supervisors and engineering staff regarding planning for upcoming maintenance jobs, gathers appropriate documentation related such as drawings, procedures, checklists that include a safe plan.
- Build weekly and daily schedules for assigned shop(s) estimating time for crew(s) to perform tasks.
- Consult with shop personnel to seek advice on unusual circumstances.
- Devise approaches to accomplish work, resolve design and operational problems. a
- Review estimates for compliance with overall project objectives.
- Determine available equipment resources are adequate and if not, research and include in estimate the item, source of equipment, rental time frame and price.
- May require periodic trips to the site of work to gather information and specifications from customers and coworkers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience within the industrial, mechanical, or planning / scheduling field.
- Experience in the use of a computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Intermediate skill in the use of Microsoft Office, and database programs.
- Ability to acquire and maintain government identification / common access card.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
- Ability to successfully pass any background checks and / or drug testing required on the contract.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
