With a baby on the way, mom needs additional support and help with her first born, age 3. She wants him to have fun, explore and go ahead and get messy! Seeking a caregiver to work M-F from 8-2, a flexible end time is a bonus! About the Role : In this part-time role, you'll play a vital role in supporting this special family.
Here's what you might do : Engage in fun and age-appropriate activities with the older child, fostering their development and independence.
Provide gentle assistance with daily routines as needed, ensuring the child feels safe and comfortable. Light housekeeping tasks related to the children's needs (meals, snacks, playtime cleanup).
Offer a helping hand with preparations for the arrival of the new baby (laundry, organizing baby supplies). Maintain a warm and positive environment for the entire family.
The Ideal Candidate : Has 2 years' experience working with children (experience with physical impairments a plus) Is patient, compassionate, understanding and coachable Has 3 childcare references Reliable, responsible, and organized with a positive attitude Has a reliable vehicle and a clean record CPR and First Aid certified Comfortable following gentle guidance and collaborating with parents Why Choose Jovie?
