What will you do?

Senior Product Managers (PMs) at Axial lead all aspects of the product development process, from research & ideation to working with world-class engineers to launch great experiences & technology for our users.

As a PM, you will be a leading member of a multi-disciplinary team of product development, UX design, & data professionals who collaborate closely to build products that are transforming the private capital markets.

PMs at Axial are customer-centric, data-driven, & critical thinkers that possess a strong understanding of technical application development, good design sense, & an exceptional ability to interpret & translate user behavior into high-impact products.

Key Responsibilities :

• Help define our roadmap. Work with Product leadership & internal stakeholders to define our 12-18 month roadmap based on a deep understanding of the Axial mission, stakeholder feedback, marketplace research & data analysis.
• Define & prioritize work. Collaborate with senior business leaders & other internal stakeholders to balance the art & the science of feature prioritization.

Use a data-driven approach to make decisions & fail fast when necessary.

• Design elegant solutions. In collaboration with your UX & engineering partners, design highly discoverable & impactful product experiences that delight our users.
• Document Epics, User Stories, Release Plans & more. Create the necessary artifacts to communicate with internal stakeholders, enable the engineering team to execute with minimal ambiguity & bring new capabilities effectively to market.
• Empower cross-functional teams. Drive maximum business impact by partnering with Engineering, UX, Go To Market, Marketing & Executive teams.
• Lead agile teams. Drive the team & yourself to continuously inspect, adapt, & improve.

Who are we looking for?

• 6-10 years of professional experience in a product-centric role. Preferably in a technology, marketplace, or high-growth company.
• You are passionate about solving problems. You often wake up in the middle of night with fresh & elegant solutions to nagging user problems.
• You obsess over delighting users. You can demonstrate that you delivered a product that was fit for purpose based on deep user empathy gathered from user research, prototyping & design reviews, analyzing data & studying usage behaviors.
• You take pride in your work. You are your toughest critic & set a bar of excellence for your colleagues.
• You are a strong communicator. You understand that analysis must be presented in meaningful ways & engage in spirited discussions about the findings.

You have the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• You are a self-starter. Youre comfortable acting autonomously in ambiguous or fluid environments.
• Bonus : Experience in the world of finance, especially M&A / private capital markets.
