Job Description

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION :

The Electrician will oversee and be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in commercial, and industrial settings.

They will ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes, and will work efficiently and safely to provide high-quality electrical services to our clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Installation :

Install electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, panels, and lighting fixtures according to electrical codes and blueprints.

Install and maintain electrical panels, circuit breakers, and transformers.Set up and configure electrical equipment and systems.

Maintenance and Repair :

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in existing systems, including diagnosing malfunctions and replacing faulty components.

Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using tools like multimeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.

Safety and Compliance :

Adhere to all safety regulations and practices, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Ensure that all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.

Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.

Customer Service :

Communicate effectively with clients to explain electrical issues, repair procedures, and maintenance needs.Determine their electrical service needs, provide cost estimates, and follow up on service requestsAddress customer concerns and provide high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting :

Complete detailed work orders and service reports.Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.

Report any additional work or recommendations to clients and supervisors.

SKILLS :

• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and a strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Korean Bilingual (preferred)

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Capable of working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or vocational training is preferred.
• Valid Georgia electrical license (Journeyman or Master Electrician) is required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an electrician, with experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
