The firm develops lasting relationships with clients through superior legal services at significant value, and has grown rapidly since its inception in 1996.

Operating throughout California, the firm has a remote set up for staff and only occasionally will the attorney need to appear in person -for depositions, meetings or court.

Responsibilities : Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers, third party administrators, and self-insured employers Prepare correspondence to clients Draft pleadings Attend court appearances Manage calendar Conduct depositions and cross-examinations of doctors Negotiate settlements on workers’ compensation files Proactive case management Conduct training seminars for clients on changing employment laws Understand and maintain current knowledge of employment law and statutes 150 monthly billable hours minimum required Requirements : Must have a well-established and exclusive employment litigation, defense background School district defense experience required Trial experience preferred, but not required Experience with public entity defense a plus Must have knowledge of class / PAGA inclusive Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees Member, State Bar of California in good standing Powered by JazzHR
