Expectations :
- provide small group and one-on-one instruction to students requiring support in the areas of reading, writing, math, and other areas as needed.
- communicate on-going student progress to parents / guardians, general education teachers, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals via progress reporting and Individual Education Plans.
- be responsible for maintaining on-going compliance in accordance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
Minimum Requirements :
- A valid teaching credential & ODE License
- Interest in obtaining a supplemental license in Special Education and working with students with disabilities by implementing research-based interventions
- Must clear a current background check through the BCI / FBI
- A current TB Test (within the last 12 months)
- Hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25 / 50k liability coverage)
Environment & Physical Requirements :
- Varied work environments, including classrooms, clinics, and homes
- Moderate to loud noise levels and physical demands may vary
- Working with individuals exhibiting diverse behaviors and needs
