Position : Physical Therapist
Location : Phoenix, AZ (Central & South)
Schedule : Full-Time
Travel : No
Compensation : $80k - $85k / year (plus bonus up to $15k-$30k / year)
Bonus : RVU
Benefits : Med / Dent / Vis, PTO / Sick, 401k, Aetna Health Insurance, 2 Weeks PTO & 5 Sick Days + Holidays, 4% Match on 401k After 1 Year Employment, $750 CME Annually
Job Summary :
A Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
This individual will work closely with patients of all age groups to prevent, manage, and improve various physical health conditions.
Duties / Responsibilities :
1. Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to determine functional status, abilities and potential, and establish appropriate treatment goals.
2. Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
3. Advise and educate patients and families in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote patient health and wellbeing.
4. Use and instruct on devices and equipment such as traction, wheelchairs, braces, crutches, and prosthetics.
5. Assess patient progress, modify treatment plans, and provide reports detailing each patients ongoing progress.
6. Work in liaison with other healthcare professionals to design and deliver complete health care for each patient.
7. Maintain up-to-date patient records and write reports detailing each patients condition and progress.
8. Stay updated with advancements in the field of physical therapy and integrate them into patient treatment where applicable.
9. Use patient feedback to aid the recovery process.
10. Maintain and clean equipment after use and ensure storage in the appropriate location.
11. Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with established agency policies and procedures and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory guidelines.
