Job Description
Responsibilities include : running the scheduling from project inception to finish, managing financial aspects including estimating, budgets, and cost reports, conducting weekly meetings and communicating daily with the Superintendent and construction team, maintaining a safe work environment, training and developing the project team, managing subcontractor schedules and quality of work, reading and interpreting plans, proposals and other documentation to create bids, tracking and analyzing data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs, obtaining and tracking subcontract bids and negotiating budgets, preparing and presenting estimate documentation, including gaps in available data, preparing estimates according to the requirements of multiple delivery systems, reviewing quotes and estimates with the project management team, assisting with certain post-bid buyouts, initiating and participating in meet and greet presentations with subcontractors and suppliers, and comprehending contract requirements for diversity compliance.

The Successful Applicant
Requirements include : a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management, 5+ years running construction projects from inception to completion, experience overseeing ground-up projects, design / build experience required, working knowledge of construction technology and details, and excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
