This position supports operations by increasing product output and quality through design modification of existing and installation of new equipment.
This may include, and is not limited to new facilities design and start-up, troubleshooting and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation projects and coordinating process design activities performed by engineering and construction contractors.
- Execute capital projects managing schedule, scope and costs following PMP principles.
- Update and maintain documentation such as material balances, P&IDs, and automation functional descriptions.
- Manage detailed engineering from third-party full-service engineering companies.
- Develop capital investment projects following the appropriate stage gate methodology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- 10 years with capital projects
- Strong experience in AutoCad and MS Project
