About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Telemetry Nurse, BMT, Hematology Oncology, Oncology Nurse Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend rotation, and some holidays Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care within the last 3 years License : Must have a nursing license from a compact state or the state of practice Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association- Chemotherapy certification required Must-Have : Chemo and / or Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience- Experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital- Basic Arrhythmia experience- Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting Job Description : Join a team of remarkable nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for patients.
- Work in a 39-bed unit providing care to acutely ill patients of varying ages and diagnoses, including end-of-life care.
- Establish and form therapeutic relationships with patients.- Engage in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.- Engage in a teaching and learning culture, continuously seeking to understand problems and solutions.
