Success in the Role :

This role is an opportunity to design one of the most complex platforms. Our success lies in our ability to design a platform that will enable both technical and non-technical employee within the organization to build sophisticated enterprise applications.

As a Principal User Experience Engineer, you will :

You will design a platform that will provide advanced features to build any complex business application but is still simple and easy to use.

It will require thinking out of the box as the platform needs to appeal to both a non technical user like a business analyst as well as advanced technology users.

You will be part of a lean and high performing UX Team responsible for all aspects of user experience through UI and conversations.

In this role you will focus on the following :

• Understand and convert complex technical and business requirements in the space of no-code development to a simple and clean user experience meant for a non-technical app designer and provide advanced capabilities to technical users.
• Collaborate very closely with product managers and translate product requirements from product managers on the various no-code modules and editors into user journeys
• Research to integrate new technologies including generative AI and vector databases into the product experience within the JIFFY.ai platform.
• Carry out user research and lab experiments to identify the patterns and the abstractions that can reduce time to market for new apps developed on JIFFY.ai platform.
• Consistent eye for detail and guiding the engineering and product team to a picture-perfect modern design
• Develop key user personas and conduct user experience research to build their expectations.
• Integrating and developing systems into the JIFFY.ai platform to measure the quality of user experience
• Identify new modules (like rules engine, case management etc) that could further simplify the application development life cycle
• Identify richer UX / UI components or widgets in a given vertical that could provide a sophisticated user experience
• Ensure products are delivered to the plan and budget

Work Experience and Skills required :

• A minimum of 15 years of experience designing products and experience in designing enterprise platform products will be a plus.
• Experience in designing low code or no code platform products or automation products is a plus.
• Very good understanding of computer science fundamentals and general understanding of a application development lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills and ability to evangelize new concepts to internal stakeholders and drive consensus
• Decision making and collaborative skills.

This role will be reporting to the VP, Product management. We are a flat high performing organization, commited to make our customers successful.

We are responsible for the UI sub system in the platform and all the UI experiences for other parts of the platform. You will set the highest standards and bring consistency and best practices across the entire platform.
