Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW or 4 weekend shifts
Length : 13 weeks
Requirements :
- VA RN License
- 2 years experience
- Must have PCU experience
- Must have Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients
- Must have Chest tube management, epidurals
- ACLS
Other details :
- Float areas : ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5 patients)
- Number of Beds 15 beds
- Number of Staff 22 (RN / PCT)
- Patient Ratios 4-5 / 1
- Type of equipment Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring
