Advanced Practice Nurse / Trauma Coordinator

Serves as a resource as an advanced practitioner providing consultation, leadership, collaboration, coaching, research, and ethical decision making for patients, staff, and the system. Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of evidence-based research. Organizes system levels of care by leveraging expertise across defined specialties.

Required qualifications for this position include :

  • Master of Science in Nursing
  • 5-7 years experience in specialty area of clinical practice
  • Active in service line and / or professional development
  • Must be clinical content expert in specialty area of clinical practice

1 year experience in delivering training in specialty area of clinical practice

  • Current RN license (State of Georgia)
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Authorization as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) from the State of Georgia
  • National Certification in specialty area of clinical practice
