Job Description
The Financial Shared Services (FSS) organization was established as a key company operating model to provide accurate financial accounting and reporting for all business organizations and to harmonize accounting processes.
The FSS Record to Report (RTR) Accountant will work closely with finance stakeholders across the R&D function to provide accounting support and participate in financial accounting decision-making process by collecting, analyzing, and reporting of financial data.
One of the primary pillars of this role is to generate accounting process improvement initiatives that deliver agility and efficiency to company finance.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the month-end processes supporting the R&D function. Includes but not limited to process data uploads, journal entry preparation.
- Assists with the preparation of monthly reconciliations while ensuring accuracy.
- Collaborates with and provides accounting services to the R&D business as primary customer.
- Supports Sarbanes Oxley and Audit deliverables as requested as well as any other projects assigned.
- Work closely with personnel in all departments to ensure compliance with company accounting policies and operational guidelines as well as GAAP.
- Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.
- Proposes and implements initiatives aimed to improve efficiency and quality of the process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2+ year’s related accounting experience required.
- Experience in SAP preferred.
- Reconciliation Tool (Blackline preferred)
- MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
