Job Details
Invasive Cardiology : is a unit comprised of 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, and 2 dedicated Electrophysiology labs.
The unit has 23 prep / recovery bays. Invasive Cardiology completes over 6,000 procedures per year and offers advanced cardiovascular treatments including but not limited to complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist device (VAD) / ECMO, structural heart procedures including TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO / ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker / ICD implant & explanation, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention and pulmonary embolectomy procedures.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of professional nursing, technical and administrative duties as they relate to the cardiac catheterization lab.
Perform scrub, circulate and hemodynamic monitoring duties with cardiac catheterizations using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols.
Provides care, assessment prior, during and post-procedural instruction to patients. Prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures.
Job Requirements

- Epic experience needed
- BLS AND ACLS REQUIRED

- Any traveler declining the COVID-19 vaccine, must be approved for a medical / religious exemption by their agency
Schedule Information
- ASAP Start
- Will work either 8 hrs or 10 hrs between the hours of 6am-7pm with Weekends and holiday as needed by unit
- Must be ok to stay till last patient is cared for.
- Call may be required.
