Job Description
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
- Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
- Administer medications as ordered
- Create Plan of Care for patients in collaboration with the nursing team
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing
Qualifications
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
- Current state Registered Nurse license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of quality concepts and principles in patient care quality improvement
