Job Overview
Come join our Corporate ESG Strategy & Sustainability team! In this role you will play a key role in establishing T-Mobile as a leader in responsible business practices.
You will develop and run our system for collecting, analyzing, validating, and reporting Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data and metrics.
This includes leading the data collection, accuracy, and reporting process for all ESG information, including alignment to ESG frameworks and standards, and supporting the data execution for the annual Corporate Responsibility (CR) Report.
This position requires demonstrable experience gathering and reporting data aligned to ESG reporting standards and frameworks and with the technical understanding necessary to communicate complex topics and key metrics.
The role will also develop an ongoing approach to ESG data collection that support T-Mobile's material ESG topic areas and evolve the approach to align with business and partner needs.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects. You are an expert problem solver at identifying and triaging data issues.
This is a hybrid role (3 days / week in the office) and can be based in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS Job Responsibilities :
- Act as the primary curator of ESG data and disclosures across T-Mobile to ensure a 'one source of truth'. This includes working across the business to collect and inventory ESG-related data and managing the validation, auditing, and assurance processes within critical timelines.
- Lead the development and implementation of an ESG data management system, facilitate training and support across multiple teams in the company, ensure completeness of all responses, and implement required checks and measures to enhance robustness of the process.
- Provide guidance to and collaborate with the data platform vendor to align business needs with the platform's capabilities and features
- Manage various ESG data and support needs including annual reporting, quarterly progress updates, dashboards, reporting requests and systems development requirements.
- Develop data governance framework and maintain documentation of processes, procedures and SOPs around data collection, verification, and assurance of ESG metrics and measurables.
- Provide data, analytics, and insights to support ESG and Sustainability strategic decisions and performance management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal partners by supporting them during data development and metrics creation.
- Maintain awareness of industry-wide standard processes and developments in ESG and appropriately provide consultation on internal changes as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, or a similar field with strong exposure to data management and analytics.
- 4-7 years of experience in data management with 2-4 years in an ESG-focused role.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks, regulations, and methodologies including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, TCFD, GRI, SASB, and other relevant frameworks.
- Familiarity with ESG assessments and ratings such as CDP and CDP Supply Chain, DJSI, Ecovadis, MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, etc.
- Experience in managing an end-to-end ESG reporting solution and compiling and analyzing ESG related data from various sources.
Experience with assurance / audit work and the ability to apply this expertise across ESG reporting practices.
- Strong data management skills and analytical problem solver. Proficient in defining, analyzing, and communicating both quantitative and qualitative information.
- Able to build strong relationships with internal team members and develop deep content knowledge quickly.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels and functions.

Base Pay Range : $87,500 - $157,900Corporate Bonus Target : 15%
