Job Summary :
Client is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer to be a Signals Analyst. The candidate must have software development lifecycle experience using the Agile methodology.
The candidate will be familiar with Algorithm development and experience with Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) is preferred and RF domain experience.
The candidate must also have Digital Communications experience. Our Engineers provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel.
They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, defining system interfaces. The candidate will provide engineering support and technical direction for the implementation of a portion of the program's systems engineering program.
Responsibilities to Anticipate :
o Providing Algorithm development and prototypes
o Provide support in a software development systems engineering role using Agile methodology
o Interacting with customers and end-users
o Providing and briefing status to program management and customers
Basic Qualifications :
o Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws / regulations.
o Experience in Algorithm development
o Experience in SIGINT and / or Digital communications
o Experience in the RF domain
o Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications :
o Experience with Agile development as it applies to software development
o Familiar with Xmidas
o Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration
o Experience in Systems Engineering leadership
o Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
o Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams
