About The Position

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and / or NCC C-EFM preferred

Must-Have :

• OB, Mother / Baby, and Labor & Delivery experience
• Ability to float to various areas and assist as needed
• Experience with circulating, scrub nursing, and couplet care

Description :

Must have experience in OB, Mother / Baby, and Labor & Delivery.

13-26 week contracts available.

36 or 48 hours per week available.

No call requirement.

Weekend work required every other weekend.

Will work in all areas of LDRP.

Will float to assist as a sitter when needed.

May float to other facilities as census and need arise.

No requests for time off during the first 8 days of the contract.

Only one holiday request allowed, and it must be for one day only.

Patient ratios will follow established guidelines for staffing.

This is a 15-bed LDRP unit with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms.

Nurses provide antepartum care, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nursing, newborn care at delivery, and couplet care.

Nurses perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns.

Experience with the EPIC documentation system is required.

Training will be provided for newborn infant hearing screenings.

Flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions only.
