This role encompasses collaborating with our retail team to provide exceptional service to our valued customers. If you're a certified diver with a minimum of 1-year sales experience and possess excellent interpersonal skills, we'd love to hear from you!Join us in fostering a community of ocean enthusiasts and promoting safe and enjoyable diving experiences for all. Qualifications :
- PADI / SSI / NAUI Open Water Diver Certification or higher
- Proficient in team environments, with a genuine passion for SCUBA diving.
- Strong customer service ethos is essential.
- Minimum 1-year sales experience in retail or in a customer facing position.
- Availability to work Sundays and occasional holidays.
Responsibilities :
- Work in our Manhattan dive shop selling scuba gear, travel, lessons, and services to our local customer base.
- Provide educated customer service and gear advice to shoppers in-store.
- Help to maintain store displays and shelves.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas of improvement in our retail environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
