Terrific opportunity for a sales professional with a high degree of flexibility!

We are seeking a highly-driven Sales Professional to join our team! We are a family-owned Foodservice Distributor looking for a motivated salesperson that is hungry and eager to succeed.

You will cover the Tampa Bay area to scout new business and also maintain current customer accounts.

Responsibilities :

• Work M-F primarily between between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Schedule is flexible, and you are not required to work on weekends or holidays, unless needed for an emergency.
• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Prospect, contact, and follow up with potential customers
• Respond and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
• Develop strong relationships and provide excellent customer service to accounts
• Follow up with current customers weekly to gather orders and upsell new inventory
• Keep customers updated on new items and special promotions
• Create sales material to present to customers
• Become familiar with product offerings to present to customers
• Have knowledge of Tampa Bay area
• Attend weekly staff meetings at office in Plant City
• Assist in developing routing for customer calls and product deliveries
• Communicate with office staff to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields (3 years) (Food Service experience preferred)
• High degree of self-management
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• High school degree, college a plus

Experience :

• Business to Business Sales : 3 years (Required)
• Customer Service : 3 years (Preferred)
• Food Service Sales : 3 years (Strongly Preferred)
