About The Position

- 2 years' minimum experience preferred License : State license Certifications : - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BCLS) by AHA - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) (pending accepted) - National Institutes of Health (NIH) Must-Have : - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - EPIC charting experience Job Description : - Night shift ER nurse position - Work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule, with potential shifts on one, two, or all three days - Position may involve floating, including Pediatrics - High patient ratios, ranging from 1 : 5-6;
- could be up to 8 during holidays and high influx periods - Nurses must agree to work under high patient ratio conditions - Modules to be completed outside of regular 12-hour shifts, estimated at 5 hours, non-billable - Orientation : 12 hours, non-billable - No on-call requirements - No Thanksgiving time-off from 11 / 28-12 / 1;
no time-off from 12 / 20-1 / 2; no block scheduling allowed - EPIC experience preferred, training completed during orientation - Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience preferred - Triage experience preferred - Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department experience ideal
