S. Our campus on the west side of Indianapolis specializes in inpatient and outpatient evidence-based, patient-centered therapy for ages 15 and older.

SUMMARY
This Registered Nurse position exists to provide nursing care to the patients and / or plans, directs and coordinates the nursing care to physical medicine rehabilitation patients via the nursing process and in collaboration with other nursing resources and the health care team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs initial and ongoing assessment for the mid-teen to adult physical medicine rehab population served; assesses physical, psychological, social, age dependent changes, cultural, environmental, spiritual and economic needs as well as discharge needs.
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, spiritual and psychological support to patients, families and friends.
- Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards and making necessary and immediate adjustments to changes in patient conditions.
- Promotes patient's independence by establishing care goals; teaching patients, friends and families to understand condition, medications, and answering questions.
Develops individualized care plans, which include nursing diagnosis, long and short-term goals and specific nursing interventions congruent with assessment data.
- Focused on providing customer satisfaction (including, but not limited to, patients, coworkers, visitors, vendors and physicians) as a primary goal / outcome of all interactions.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
- Current State of Indiana or Compact Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- CPR certification
