Sr Technical Product Manager / IT Acct Mgr.

As a member of the internal Cloud Managed Services (iCMS) organization within Technology & Infrastructure (T&I), the Technical Product Manager will oversee product delivery and operations while ensuring business stakeholder expectations are met / exceeded.

The TPM will work directly with business stakeholders to understand expectations and collaborate with US / Global teams to plan and deliver products which achieve intended business outcomes.

Responsibilities include building strong relationships with business stakeholders, viewed as a trusted advisor, proactivity around developing / providing points of view for emerging / current technologies, understanding the importance of risk and compliance so that products are secure, and maintaining alignment with defined business or technology strategies.

The TPM will also manage day-to-day stakeholder priorities, develop process / capability mapping, execute the technology strategy / roadmap, ensure successful program / product / service delivery, and maintain compliance with any / all Cyber / Risk compliance activities.

Products will support initiatives approved by the channel and oversee the successful implementation and migration of identified products / services.

The position requires a high degree of understanding of cloud technologies, security compliance processes and certifications (SOC2, ISO, GITC, PCAOB, HIPAA), Iaas / Paas / SaaS / CaaS offerings, Microsoft Azure environment, Amazon AWS environment, Google GCP environment, and experience using Agile / SCRUM methodologies.

Work you’ll do

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

• Responsible for management and delivery of technology products and initiatives including the coordination of cloud hosted solutions and on-premise hosted solutions.
• Understand clients’ business strategy and expected outcomes while possessing the ability to translate those for effective solution delivery.
• Manage and mitigate risks / issues that arise with services provided by iCMS and T&I.
• Effectively guide architects / DevOps engineers through all aspects of client solution delivery including prioritization, planning, training, support, and deployment.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant DT / DT-US and Firm strategies.
• Provide insight into key technology initiatives from iCMS and T&I which may impact the customers / business.
• Provide influence and guidance to the Technology Portfolio Leader, FSS CTO, and other PPMDs / business stakeholders to ensure governance, standards and processes are understood and taken into account as part of ongoing product management.
• Build and maintain a trusted advisor’ relationship with senior business leaders and stakeholders within the channel.
• Recognize areas where processes / workflows need to be built and / or improved to better the services provided. Understand if there are implications which may impact the channel and mitigate or communicate as appropriate.
• Communicate and Report to internal / business stakeholders so they are apprised of product status, successes, potential for risk and / or identified issues.
• Foster a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients (internal and external).
• Ensure iCMS, T&I, and DT-US channels or leaders (as appropriate) are kept up to date on key projects and initiatives.
• Clearly demonstrate executive presence and ability to present succinctly to executive leadership.
• Extensive experience with PowerPoint and ability to tell a story using visuals, metrics, and headlines.

Qualifications

Required :

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a large technology environment with 5 years of demonstrated experience in a Senior IT Leadership role responsible for IT transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading a technical organization including budgeting, staffing, communications (internal and external), and prioritizing competing demands.
• Experience with public cloud hosting in an enterprise scale environment, preferably in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or Google GCP.
• Significant experience with industry security certifications, including SOC2, ISO, General IT Controls, PCAOB, HIPAA, and others.
• Significant experience in dealing with leadership (service line level) in understanding the needs of client service.
• Superior people and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to solve a specific business need.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to analyze, understand, and communicate complex ideas across a varied audience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and / or qualifications.
• Experience managing across a matrixed organization to deliver technology solutions and results for functional leadership / stakeholders.
• Knowledge of firm and industry technology that can be applied to client solution delivery within the specific channel.
• Excellent planning and organization skills. Ability to take a project / initiative / program from ideation and organize a plan to deliver the final working solution.

Responsible and accountable for all aspects of the projects within the channel.

• Must be able to effectively manage scope of projects and expectations of project stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills required.
• Expert problem solver. Ability to find simple answers for complex questions or problems. Uses knowledge gained through prior experience, education, or training to resolve issues and remove project barriers.
• Demonstrated ability in developing technical professionals including mentoring, evaluation, handling talent specific issues, training requirements and career counseling.
• Passion and commitment for the organization / team / role.
• The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets;

experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $232,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
