PRN Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Must Speak Spanish

OPEN POSITION : - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Primary Care - Must Speak Spanish SCHEDULE : - PRN - Guaranteed Monthly Minimum OFFICE HOURS : - Monday to Friday - 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm Daily - Closed for 1-Hour Lunch Break COMPENSATION : - $80 to $110 per Hour, negotiable dependent upon experience - Malpractice Insurance OFFICE LOCATION : East San Jose, California COMPANY PROFILE : This passionate, mission-driven organization is a long-standing presence in the Bay Area healthcare market with offices in San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland.

Their locations are spacious, modern buildings with comfortable areas dedicated to each medical provider and amenities such as a partner pharmacy and lab.

Appproximately 95% of their patients are Spanish-speaking and their mission is to deliver the most affordable, high quality healthcare possible to the local Hispanic community.

POSITION DESCRIPTION : The San Jose office has one (1) full-time provider and the practice is seeking to hire a PRN provider to offer shifts to for sick days, vacations, and other coverage needs.

This is an autonomous position in which the new APP will be the only provider on-site during their shift with an off-site supervising physician and lead APP.

The APP is supported by a medical assistant who helps however possible, including with charting and documentation. The APP provides routine, low-acuity medical services to a dedicated patient panel, seeing an average of 15 to 20 patients per day.

The services of the practice include, but are not limited to : - routine primary care - annual physicals - sports physicals - sick visits - minor wound care - B12 injections The clinic uses an EHR and has a dedicated pharmacy and lab.

Approximately 95% of patients are Spanish-speaking and the new APP must be fluent in Spanish.
