Mechanic

Great company. Great people. Great opportunities.As a 2nd Shift (11 : 30am to 8pm) Mechanic (Service Tech III) at United Rentals, you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Additional duties include the following : Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systemsAssist in the training of lower level technicians as neededMaintain paperwork / electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basisWhen required, travel to customer job sites for repair / maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment;

must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional mannerAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as neededJob Requirements : High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with acceptable driving record3-5 years of experience repairing / maintaining equipment and toolsAdvanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of toolsStrong mechanical background knowledge of various enginesMust own tools applicable to positionSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal / written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
