Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™ , a DH Pace Company, aspires to hire a Residential Department Manager in our Olathe office.

We are a customer focused, sales, and service organization. Will manage & develop skilled field technicians and office personnel with a common goal of providing top level service with a focus on minimizing labor costs and maximizing profit.

Job Responsibilities :

• Will effectively manage employee performance, control labor and material costs and ensure service levels meet customer expectations
• Assist with employee / job scheduling and provide assistance with technical / mechanical trouble-shooting / problem solving
• Monitor technicians’ schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs and accurate customer invoicing
• Perform employee performance reviews, document performance issues, provide necessary employee counseling with targeted improvement action plans
• Other duties may be assigned

Job Requirements :

• Management experience in a fast-paced service focused organization
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and a good mechanical and mathematical aptitude
• Possess an ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
• Proficient with Windows based programs and ERP / CRM Systems
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
