Job Summary

The Food & Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of the hotels food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, rooftop bar and banquets. This position is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring compliance with service and sanitation standards, assisting with menu planning, and driving guest and team satisfaction. The ideal candidate leads by example, fosters a positive and professional culture, and works to continuously improve performance and profitability.

Core Responsibilities

Managing Day-to-Day Operations

  • Supervise and manage all food and beverage employees and operations.
  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and sanitation in all outlets.
  • Review staffing levels to ensure operational and financial goals are met.
  • Support team members by performing duties as needed during peak periods.

Leading the Food & Beverage Team

  • Lead with integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasmsetting the tone for the team.
  • Build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among staff.
  • Identify and support employee development through training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Set departmental goals and ensure efficient execution to achieve results.
  • Enforce compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and liquor laws.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable.
  • Ensuring Exceptional Guest Service

  • Foster a culture of service excellence and guest engagement.
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a visible presence during service to ensure standards are met.
  • Gather guest feedback to continually improve the food and beverage experience.
  • Empower employees to deliver personalized and memorable service.
  • Incorporate guest satisfaction results into ongoing team development.
  • Qualifications

    Administrative & Operational Support

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and subordinates via phone, email, and meetings.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve results.
  • Recognize and ensure consistency in product quality and presentation.
  • Support servers and hosts during high-demand periods.
  • Maintain food and beverage costs.
  • Inventory control and product ordering and receiving.
  • Schedule & Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proven leadership experience in food & beverage or hospitality management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on approach with a commitment to guest and employee satisfaction.

    Compensation Range

    The compensation for this position is $68,000.00 / Yr. - $72,000.00 / Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
