Sunbelt Staffing, a nationwide healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position in Anderson, SC covering Anderson, Oconee, and Easley areas.
The successful candidate will join our client, a leading nationwide home health agency, and provide quality patient care in a home-based setting.
Contract Details :
- Location : Anderson, SC covering Anderson, Oconee, and Easley areas
- Company : Sunbelt Staffing
- Contract Length : 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
- Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)
- Compensation : Negotiable, based on experience and territory budget
- Mileage Reimbursement : 0.48c per mile from patient home to home
- Blended Pay Packages : Available for travelers
- Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, 401k match after 90 days
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments using OASIS, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans, medication management, and other health-related topics.
- Maintain accurate patient records in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and ensure compliance with agency standards.
- Travel to patient homes within the area, utilizing reliable transportation.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.
- Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
- Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
Important Note : Due to this being a contract opportunity with limited training and orientation time, only candidates with prior home health experience and proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase will be considered.
