SALES MANAGER

Location : Denver, CO

Join a dynamic growing Global NVOCC Leader for Asia Pacific, USA, and other countries. The company has over 40 years of successful track record and reputation in the logistics industry.

The Sales Manager will hands-on lead a team of Sales representative for the Colorado state, and the individual will develop new businesses by introduction of the company’s global full-service offerings in ocean freight, air freight, custom broker, cargo insurance and warehousing & distribution.

A one-stop service that will customize each new customer’s business process and requirements.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Manage a team of Sales Logistics Rep in Colorado and hands-on sales in opening new customers.
  • Provide a strong sales roadmap and game plan strategy in developing new accounts and businesses in Colorado and present the NVOCC service offering.
  • Prospecting, Networking and Cold-calling new customers and providing professional communication, presentation of logistics service offerings and hearing each customer’s needs.
  • Provide strong customer relationship and account management for each new onboarding of customers and ensure their freight forwarding needs and services are met and supported.
  • Establish good communication at all times via call, text or email responses and correspondents.
  • Schedule discovery or preliminary meetings to identify their current needs that need better services or pricing in ocean & air freight (import / export), distribution & warehousing, trucking, and custom brokerage.
  • Driving and exceeding monthly individual sales quota & team sales quota. Providing reports & communication with management.
  • Travelling in Colorado to meet customers is required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 5 years of freight forwarding (ocean and / or air) experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of managing a sales team is required.
  • Strong track record of sales prospecting and opening new business accounts in a regional level or state level with the team and individual.
  • Passionate in sales and logistics service industry is preferred.
  • Experience in using Cargo Wise One ERP and proficiency in Power Point, Word & Excel
  • Strong professional attitude, etiquette, good writing and communication skills.
