This Senior Engineer role for Portfolio Construction will work closely with Senior Risk Managers, leading projects & / or small teams, initially focused on fixed income & fx asset classes.
You will provide support and development of risk applications across multiple business lines and aggregated firm level risk.
You will be expected to be hands-on, leading delivery of projects independently and in collaboration with a global footprint of developers
Responsibilities
- Work as part of an established & experienced development team
- Partner with Risk Managers to define & build state-of-the-art risk analysis software
- Provide application and analytics support to Quantitative Researchers & Risk Managers
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in Python
- SQL & data manipulation experience essential
- Experience with HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+) & frameworks (React), Node.js
Education
- Masters Degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, science, computer science, or mathematics
