Responsibilities of our Commercial Construction Plumber :

  • Install plumbing systems in commercial construction projects, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
  • Collaborate with other construction tradespeople and contractors to ensure proper coordination and integration of plumbing systems with overall building plans.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine the layout and placement of plumbing components, taking into account structural considerations and accessibility requirements.
  • Assemble, install, and connect pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques such as soldering, brazing, threading, and welding.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and performance issues, making necessary adjustments and repairs to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems and emergencies on construction sites, including clogs, leaks, and malfunctions, to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site-specific safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and progress reports, to facilitate project management and billing processes.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, technologies, and best practices related to commercial plumbing construction, continuously improving skills and knowledge.

Requirements of our Commercial Construction Plumbers :

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of commercial plumbing experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic math skills, including interpreting architectural plans, drawings, and plumbing designs.
  • Own personal hand tools and have experience working with power tools and electronic test equipment.
  • The ability to understand and interpret schematic diagrams and blueprints is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of job site safety protocols and practices.
  • Experience operating a backhoe is advantageous.
  • Availability to work a standard 40-hour workweek, with flexibility for overtime when needed.
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Successful candidates will be required to take a skill assessment as part of the interview process.
