North Point Technology is looking for a TS / SCI Cleared Automated SW Test Engineer to support our customer's mission. The position is based in Chantilly, VA.
Qualified candidates should have a BS degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional and regression testing for new and enhanced capabilities and fixes for defects found in the software baseline
- Define and implement modernized test approaches in concert with program leadership
- Test Portal capabilities using Cucumber / Selenium automated testing scripts
- Design, prototype, and implement Cucumber / Selenium scripts which are used for testing
- Create, update, and review detailed manual test procedures for conduct of factory acceptance, independent verification and validation (IV&V), and regression testing
- Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), executing and demonstrating test procedures in front of Customer witnesses
- Assist development and deployment teams with troubleshooting and analyzing issues as they arise
- Work with developers to identify and resolve discrepancies found during testing
- Maintain close collaboration with System Engineers to verify system functionality against requirements
- Update and review the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
- Ensure testing scripts and projects are updated and maintained in the Test Git repository
Core Responsibilities :
- Experience designing, prototyping, implementing and supporting automated test tools and frameworks
- At least 3 years experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Active CompTIA Security+ Certification
- TS / SCI Clearance with CI Poly
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience working with Linux
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience leading / managing a team
- Experience testing SOAP and REST APIs using SoapUI or a similar tool
- Experience with test automation tool implementation such as Selenium and Cucumber
- Experience with maintaining test automation scripts
- Prior experience working with the National Geospatial intelligence agency (NGA)
