Job Title : QA Technician
Job Description
- Review and approve records to ensure compliance.
- Identify deviations, initiate, and coordinate completion of Non-Conformance and Corrective Action (CAPA) investigations including root cause analyses.
- Disposition of raw materials and products as Hold / Release / Quarantine, as applicable, and dispositioning materials in electronic WMS system.
- Conduct basic food safety / cGMP and quality-related training for new hires.
- Assist with the development of SOPs related to manufacturing processes and production personnel compliance training.
- Provide support as needed during audits by regulatory and third parties.
- Conduct and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental testing as part of the Environmental Monitoring Program.
- Collect raw materials to prepare and / or conduct testing.
- Sample finished products to collect data and identify sensory attributes.
- Evaluate sensory characteristics for product approval and shelf life studies.
- Work with production personnel to correct processes if the product is out of compliance.
- Convey test results to the appropriate personnel and follow up if needed.
- Complete audits based on the production schedule.
- Conduct and coordinate facility environmental testing.
- Promote and follow GMPs for the facility.
