POSITION OVERVIEW :

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for delivering a complete range of standard and custom AV designs and corporate network and infrastructure projects.

They can be relied upon to assist in local or regional projects but remain flexible to own cross regional projects that may fall within their portfolio.

They are highly visible and responsible for the scheduling and deployment of network infrastructure and AV equipment in new or remodeled client offices.

They are held accountable for on-time delivery of their assigned programs and to provide clear, concise, and timely status updates to their client stakeholders.

The Technical Program Manager will build quality relationships and partner with multiple vendors, client stakeholders and internal teams to facilitate the on-time delivery of their work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

Actively drive program results through coordination and collaboration with cross functional partners and 3rd party vendors from project planning to execution / post deployment review.

This includes owning and driving escalations of potential risks to the appropriate parties within the program.

Lead projects through deployment and commissioning of shared and collaborative IT gear in tech office builds, including conference rooms, training rooms, presentation rooms and more.

Provide project stakeholders with a routine status of the deployment project, actively communicating technical issues and risks, and minimizing the impact of these issues and risks through project meetings, team meetings and formal stakeholder updates via various software tools.

Applying the clients technical network, infrastructure and AV standards while working collaboratively with the design engineers and cross functional partners.

Engage with third party vendors for hardware procurement, scheduling, and integration of systems. Holding outside vendors accountable for proper installation and commitments to contracts such as adhering to schedules & handing over a complete product or project across the finish line.

Performs testing and commissioning handovers with third party vendors

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

Must have both corporate AV and network experience. Detailed AV experience carries more weight here.

5+ Years Technical Project Management experience (AV / VC, Networking, hardware, etc.)

Prior experience in the AV / VC field as an installer, engineer, or designer to understand AV system functionality, installation processes and techniques.

Experience managing programs with multiple networking, AV and other technology elements in a new build or building refresh capacity

Excellent task management, verbal & written communication skills, combined with relentless follow-up.

Excels when working in a team-oriented environment and highly motivated to provide a positive user experience. Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage time efficiently

Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, a customer-service orientation, and welcoming, helpful attitude.

Able and confident to make decisions and be accountable for project deliverables.

Manage outside vendors on design process, integration efforts, adhering to rigid design guidelines.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects across multiple cities and regions in a fast-paced, detail oriented and highly accountable environment.

Strong time management skills with attention to detail, identifying roadblocks and next steps proactively.

Experience with project management software platform in an enterprise organization.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

CAPM or PMP certification preferred

BS or BA degree preferred

Pay Range

$120,000-$130,000 USD
