About The Position
Job Title : Medical Lab Technician II Job Specialty : Technician II Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift, 8 hours;
Third Shift, 10 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM, rotating every third weekend and holidays Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years, EPIC LIS experience preferred License : Not required Certifications : ASCP - Must have Must-Have : - Core lab skills in Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology- Ability to work on Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and UA benches- Ability to perform Body Fluid Cell count- Experience with Beckman AU 5800, DXi 800, AU5800 for chemistry Job Description : Perform laboratory tests and procedures in a core lab setting- Support various laboratory testing including chemistry, coagulation, hematology, and urinalysis- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities as required- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate test results- Rotate through various workstations including weekends and holidays as scheduled- Maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory operations- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and compliance regulations- Demonstrate proficiency in using laboratory instrumentation and software systems
