- 8 years of experience in graphic design rolesat least 23 years in senior designer / art director leadershiproles
- Proven experience coaching and managingmore junior designers
- Strongly preferexperience with retail brands andpackaging
- Proven experiencebuilding / redesigning brand identities andguidelines
- Deep understanding of designprinciples and creative process bestpractices
- Experience art directing campaignswith photo / video / digital components aplus
- Expert user of Adobe CreativeSuite
What will you do The Art Director is a senior lead within theCreative Services team. This person is responsible for managing agroup of graphic designers leading visual consistency through allcreated assets and work closely with the creative director to makesure designs are aligned with the overall brand strategy andguidelines.
They also drive creativity and design thinking withinthe team finding new ways to approach problems and ensuring thatthe brand is always innovative and unique.
Thisposition requires experience managing design teams either in aninhouse or agency environment. Candidates will have a portfoliothat demonstrates highlevel graphic design campaign andspecifically retail / CPG packaging artwork experience.
- Refine and define visual brandsystem
- Develop graphic design related areas ofbrand guidelines : logo and typography color palettes visualelements and more. Develop clear SOPs for design team aroundcreative process high and lowcomplexity projects presenting workand receiving / interpreting feedback
- Buildonbrand templates for common project types : web assets emails paidmedia organic social
- Develop packaging designsystem to unify product portfolio
- Lead roll outof packaging refresh across allSKUs
