HeyGen is hiring : Visual Designer in San Francisco

At HeyGen, our mission is to make visual storytelling accessible to all. Over the last decade, visual content has become the preferred method of information creation, consumption, and retention. But the ability to create such content, in particular videos, continues to be costly and challenging to scale. Our ambition is to build technology that equips more people with the power to reach, captivate, and inspire audiences.

Position Overview : HeyGen seeks an experienced visual designer with a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and some After Effects skills to produce marketing designs for web, email, collateral, event and general brand. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with graphic design, user interface design, interaction and brand design. This position will start as a long term contractor opportunity.

Design brand and marketing pieces across all channels, telling a visually compelling and brand consistent story that makes HeyGen looked fun and sophisticated

Possess a mastery of typography, composition, montage, color and interaction design, plus persuasive storytelling for video and web

Use their strong knowledge of Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects to do the best work of their careers

Develop banner ads, collateral, social media posts, web design, trade show booth design, and other brand activations

Collaborate with marketing types to help us achieve awareness and pipeline goals

Help us evolve the brand visual system

Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s voice through its visual touchpoints

Design trade show events once a year

Design user-centered interaction models, wireframes or screen mockups

Design logos, icons and infographics

Work with a component library if necessary

Develop mood boards and color studies

Required Knowledge and Skills 6+ years experience with agencies and Tech Startups

Strong portfolio showcasing past work in B2C and or B2B

Ability to meet deadlines consistently, project management, professionalism

In-depth knowledge of graphic design principles and web design, some animation

Extensive knowledge of ui design principles for web, knowledge of CMS systems

Ability to work directly with a developer to recreate Figma designs accurately for launch

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to take / apply constructive feedback

Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in graphic design, visual communication for marketing

Web design, event signage, social media, and some animation.

Salary Range : $50-$75 / hr
