We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join our team at our animal hospital in Merritt Island, FL.
The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and several years of experience in a clinical setting. The Lead Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, overseeing the work of other veterinary staff, and developing and implementing hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Provide medical care to animals, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
- Perform surgery and other procedures
- Oversee the work of other veterinary staff, including technicians, assistants, and receptionists
- Develop and implement hospital policies and procedures
- Maintain hospital records and prepare reports
- Interact with clients and answer their questions Qualifications :
- DVM degree

- Several years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
