JOB SUMMARY :

We are creating a team of technology enthusiasts who can choose the right tool for the job and prioritize creating a great product over any particular stack (language, DBs, etc.

You will be leading a small team of developers splitting the monolith into a more micro-service-oriented architecture.

At the same time, you’ll be implementing new features to support the new needs from the business and improving the response times from the existing endpoints.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Design cloud-native solutions that that scale up (define resources, scalable components, etc.)
• Design and implement APIs
• Constantly learn new technologies (databases, languages, design techniques)
• Understanding of automation mechanism
• Write high quality code that adhere to best practices
• Decrease the response times of the endpoints
• Convert a small sentence into a product spec and coordinate the implementation
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS :

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced start-up, entertainment, or media company
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and collected in high pressure situations
• An understanding of current social / digital platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Ability to multi - task and prioritize duties
• Possess good understanding of web, social, and talent & creator landscape
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Slack.
• A commitment to excellence and a deep belief in diversity and collaboration

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• Ability to use computer keyboard up to 80% of the work day
• Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment
• Lift and / or move up to 15 pounds
