We're seeking a mid-level Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our healthcare interoperability platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a particular focus on Next.js, React, and Python.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, React, Python, Typescript
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between different components of our healthcare interoperability platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize application performance and scalability to handle large volumes of healthcare data
- Implement and maintain data security measures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues in existing applications
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and healthcare IT
Requirements :
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in full-stack software development
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, and Python
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
- Familiarity with database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL)
- Understanding of web security best practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Experience in healthcare IT or familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is preferred
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
