Servers will provide dining room services, assist in room tray service and Resident seating. Servers will maintain cleanliness and set-up of the dining room.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. tWork under the direction of the Dietary Director.
2. tServing of meals to our Residents.
3. tWait, clean, and reset tables.
4. tClean up after all meals, including busing tables, washing off all tables, and re-setting for next meal.
5. tMaintain salad bar, server prep area, dish room area (when washing dishes), and beverage areas.
6. tReport Residents who miss meals.
7. tEmployees shall maintain and complete all items as indicated on the kitchen procedure checklist.
8. tPerform all duties as directed by the Cook.
9. tWash dishes as part of the rotation.
10. tWill assist in reconciling and inventorying food orders received from food suppliers.
11. tWill assist in deep cleaning of kitchen / dining room as directed by supervisor and / or cook.
12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor / management
QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS :
tIn a typical (7.5) hour shift, servers will routinely be required to stoop, carry, bend, squat, kneel crouch, climb, grip, reach, push and pull and will occasionally be required to lift overhead, waist high and floor level.
Dishwashers will be required to lift up to 20 pounds, unassisted, routinely on a daily basis.
tThe above list is not intended to be all-inclusive and at times the employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator or their designated supervisors.
tMust be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
tMust be 18 years of age.
tGood Physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than (6) months prior to or (7) days following employment.
This certification must verify that the Server has no communicable diseases, open lesions, or any other health problem, which could interfere with individuals job performance.
Grandfathered employees are exempt from this requirement.
tMust be criminally cleared by DOJ and FBI via the Live-Scan process prior to employment. Grandfathered employees are exempt from this requirement.
tAll employees are expected to report to work on time or give your supervisor sufficient notice (i.e. minimum of four hours).
tMaintain a compassionate and caring attitude toward the Residents.
This position reports to the Dietary Director and the Executive Director. $16.50 - $18.50 Hourly
