Roles and Responsibilities :
- The Clinic Director is responsible for the overall performance and operations of the clinic, composed of approximately 12 - 15 professional outpatient therapists. This includes :
- Collaborating with Franchise Owner, Ellie Mental Health corporate shared services, and other Ellie Mental Health clinic directors
- Facilitating a creative, positive, and fun work culture that aligns with Ellie values
- Hiring and leading passionate clinicians that embrace our values
- Managing clinician performance and job satisfaction
- Providing ongoing administrative and clinical oversight
- Ensuring excellent client clinical care and a great customer experience
- Providing training and ongoing developmental support
- Meeting the clinic’s financial and operational performance goals
- Maintaining strict compliance with applicable federal and state healthcare laws
- Marketing clinical services, building community partnerships and creating referral relationships
- Maintaining strict confidentiality handling client information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and Ellie policies
- Maintaining a reasonable client caseload

Required Skills / Abilities :
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets. You will be the day to day leader of the clinic!
- Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline
- Active independent clinical licensure in the state of CO (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), with a minimum of 3 years of independent licensure
- Excellent understanding of Colorado Mental Health Statutes, Professional Ethics, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines
- Strong working understanding of outpatient mental health practices and procedures coupled with openness to being the frontline evaluator, trainer, and enforcer of clinic procedures and clinical compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to give constructive feedback to peers, supervisees, and leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function and adapt well in a high-paced and changing environment
- Highly proficient with Microsoft 365 applications including Office Suite, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
- Comfortable learning new software applications quickly and independently, and able to train and assist other clinicians with the same
- Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems
- Previous / current experience with revenue cycle management, including insurance billing and client collections
- A great sense of humor is key - we love to laugh!
Preferred Skills / Abilities :
- Board approved clinical supervisor
- Currently credentialed with most public and commercial payors
