About The Job
As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the overall delivery of one or more software applications or services, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.
g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate to gather and review software requirements and user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications, and collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
- Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages.
- Create and execute automated test plans and strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers and architects, clients, etc.
to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting.
- In addition to Unit Test, responsibilities may include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and / or user acceptance testing.
- Supports applications and solves configuration and environment issues.
- Designs, develops, documents, and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software.
- Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
- Coordinates design and integration of total system including subsystems.
- Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems.
- Supports technical initiatives normally as part of a larger project.
- Works on development of new technologies or maintenance of existing technologies.
- Exchanges complex technical information and provides training and guidance to others in work area by breaking down information in a systematic and logical manner.
- Supports DevSecOps integration
Required Qualifications :
- 5 - 8 years System Engineering experience.
- Experience in building multiple versions systems addressing performance and scale.
- Experience developing technical documentation on applications and systems.
- Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams.
- Snowflake Skill set, including Snowflake architecture, warehousing and processing.
- Hybrid tables, External tables, Iceberg tables.
- SQL API, Snowpark API.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow modules, especially HRSD
- Continuous data pipelines and protection.
- Native app framework.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- ServiceNow development and configuration experience
- Connectors and Drivers.
- Supported cloud regions and platforms.
- Cloud agnostic solution.
- Concurrency and workload isolation.
- Additional desired Snowflake skills include Advanced SQL, Python, Java / jdbc, and Data warehousing / data modeling concepts.
- Boomi Skill Set, including Boomi certification preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of connectors, data processing and low code programming in boomi.
- Data mapping, integration best practices.
- API, SFTP, HTTP(s) protocols and their interaction.
- OAUTH and other authentication methods.
Position available only in Plano or Atlanta
Our Lead Software Engineering earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education / training.
