Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Job Opportunity : Director of FP&A
Spartan Capital Group is excited to partner with a leading organization in the real estate industry to find a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
This Scottsdale / Phoenix-based position requires in-office presence from Monday to Friday and offers a competitive salary range of $125K-$130K.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership Role : Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a pivotal member of the corporate finance team, engaging with stakeholders including owners, investors, COOs, SVPOs, RVPOs, and EDs.
- Strategic Planning : Take charge of budget creation, analysis, reporting, and forecasting for a robust portfolio of properties.
- Team Management : Lead and cultivate a high-performing finance team.
- Stakeholder Communication : Conduct and lead calls and meetings with various levels of reporting.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background : Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience : At least 5 years in a financial planning & analysis role, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in real estate or REIT, particularly in multi-site, multi-state environments.
- Leadership : Proven track record in leading and managing a team.
- Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in PowerBi (our primary analytics tool), Excel, and a solid understanding of Tableau and Power Pivot.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate their work during the interview process.
Underwriting Expertise : Hands-on experience with underwriting and financial modeling.
