- Registered Nurse position at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 1 year - Unit accepts first time travelers
- PATIENT POPULATION : Adults to Geriatrics, avg daily census 28
- RATIO : 1 : 4 / 5
- UNIT SYSTEMS : Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
- Diagnoses : CHF, STEMI, NSTEMI, renal, pulmonary, trauma, stroke, TIA
- Special Procedures : peritoneal dialysis, CPAP, BIPAP, EKG monitoring, stress test, cardiac caths, TR bands, medication infusions
Job Requirements
- Required Skills / Certs : BLS, ACLS, Epic
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Telemetry -on the unit monitoring
- Telemetry- remote monitoring
- Post Cardiac Angiogram
- IV insulin protocols
- Feeding tube care and management
- Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management
- Blood Product Administration
- Central line care / management
- Peripheral Line Care / Management
- PICC line management
- Starting IVs
- Heparin Protocols
- Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
- Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
- Procedural Sedation Administration
- Titrate Cardiac drips
- Titrate Vasoactive drips
- Pre / Post neurosurgery
- Traumatic Brain injury
- Ortho trauma
- Total Joint Replacements
- Surgical drains
- Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac
- External CPAP / BIPAP
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
Schedule Information
- SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS :
- RTO : MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed
- Holiday RTO cannot be requested
- WEEKENDS : Weekends are required for unit coverage
- FLOATING : Float to other departments as needed to cover facility
