JOB TITLE : Patient Support Coordinator

REPORTS TO : Call Center Supervisor / Patient Care Manager

Job Brief

Are you a people person with a knack for problem-solving? Do you love making someone's day just a little bit better? If so, we want you on our team! We're looking for a Patient Support Coordinator to be the friendly bridge between our clinics and our wonderful patients.

You'll take ownership of patient issues, complaints, and inquiries, ensuring patient satisfaction is always at the heart of what you do.

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of our clinics : manage incoming calls for initial appointments, scheduling & rescheduling, medication inquiries, invoice questions, cancellations, and more.
  • Stay on top of emails, texts, and voicemails, responding promptly and with a smile (even if it's virtual!).
  • Create and assign tasks to Patient Relations Coordinators (PRCs), Patient Experience Managers (PEMs), and Providers.
  • Identify patients' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions or alternatives.
  • Build sustainable relationships and keep patients engaged by going the extra mile.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the right tools and methods.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to the letter.
  • Meet personal and team KPIs because we succeed together!
  • Help train new employees by mentoring them and sharing your wisdom.
  • De-escalate situations with dissatisfied patients and offer assistance and support.
  • Master the art of time management and organization.

Requirements and Skills

  • Previous experience in a customer support role.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening.
  • A passion for helping others and adaptability to different personality types.
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Adaptability, dependability, and flexibility because no two days are the same!
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy you're a whiz with tech!
  • A track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Expertise in your specialty area.
