Job Overview : As a Final Assembly Technician, you will be pivotal in our production area, assembling and testing high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies.
Your role will involve performing both electrical and mechanical tests, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards, and working in a clean room environment.
Responsibilities : Conduct electrical and mechanical tests using various mechanical and electronic test equipment. Use hand tools and fixtures for assembly and testing.
Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical test specifications, and other build documentation. Follow all manufacturing processes and standards.
Learn and adhere to clean room standards. Ensure compliance with company quality systems for high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
Perform additional duties as assigned.Experience / Education : Minimum of 2 years" experience in manufacturing within an AS9100 and ISO9000 controlled environment preferred.
Experience with space-based applications and electronic / electromechanical products is a plus. AA or AS degree preferred;
High School Diploma or GED required. Cleanroom experience preferred. R&D background preferred.Required Skills / Abilities : Ability to read and interpret operation sheets, routers, and blueprints.
Fluent in English. Maintain a quiet, clean, neat, and safe work environment. Understanding of number conversion (ohms, milliohms, megaohms, etc.
Physical Requirements : High level of dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for extended periods of time. Alertness and attentiveness for meticulous work.
Ability to stand, lift, pull, push, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Sit or stand for long periods. Application of torque (rotational force).
Wear common protective or safety equipment. Inspect and deburr under a microscope for extended periods. Ability to work in a clean room environment for long durations.
General Requirements : Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Must be a 'US Person' per ITAR definition. Work hours : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM, with potential Saturdays and overtime as needed.
